We have seen that
staying for long in either NTZ or PTZ sets in our behaviour patterns
either pessimistic and negative, or too optimistic and complacent;
TLZ offers a “balanced”
approach to issues.
What
is a balanced approach?
It’s
creation of a strong inner character, so that you can remain
Unaffected or even change in adverse outer influences
Case
1
Imagine a prospect
either refusing to buy or become a member to do business, you don’t
get disheartened; rather approach the situation differently by asking
yourself
“Where
have I gone wrong in convincing him?”
“Where
I need to improve myself?”
You are not affected
“emotionally”
when the prospect turns you down.
Rather, you in a “balanced
way” start analysing reasons for
failure, than overtaken by failure.

In another situation a
prospect, as soon as you finished presentation either buys some
product or decides to join immediately to do business with you; you
will not jump to the sky suddenly; rather you will ask yourself,

what ways I will help him to succeed”

If
a team member fails to understand the subject and keeps on asking the
same thing, you don’t get “irritated”; rather ask yourself

which other way I will tell him so that he understands”
All
this is possible only when your Thought Pendulum is in the
THOUGHTLESS ZONE (T L Z). That is the “balanced
state of the mind”
Concentration
& Condensation
How
to get to the T L zone? It’s at the centre of the
pendulum. Once the clock pendulum stops at the centre, the clock will stop. But the body’s clock will not stop at all once you steadily keep the Thought Pendulum at the centre. Rather it will function differently and show you newer ways to solve issues.

Concentration
means focussing, without any thoughts; simply focussing your thoughts
on “NOTHING”. Will the “mind
monkey” keep quite without
thoughts? Yes it will; but it requires practice. Once the mind is
stilled without “deliberately” thinking of something slowly the
“mind monkey can
be tamed and brought to balance”.
Condensation
is filtering all your “experience essences” at a spot in the
mind. There
are “3 R” activities for your mind.
Reading:
Your mind can not only read a book it can read all happenings around
you.
Registering:
Your mind registers every event in your life, every word spoken,
every situation you have encountered all through your life.
Recalling:
It can recall the right message
stored in the mind at the right time when required by you. That’s
how you write an examination long after you have studied the subject.
That’s how you connect immediately to a friend even if you see him
long after you met.
If a customer had asked
a query and you convincingly answered him, when you meet up with a
similar situation with a different customer, your mind will pick up
that “experience
essence” and suddenly from
nowhere that answer will come to you and you can convince the
different customer as well.
This process of
Concentration & Condensation can be practiced by everyone to our
benefit.

POWER OF T L Z
As all our actions are
guided by NTZ & PTZ what role TLZ has is a natural question that
arises in the “non-existing Mind”.
While NTZ & PTZ
trigger knee jerk reactions at a given situation for acute actions,
for habitual actions respective stay in them contribute to the
behaviour pattern.
That’s why we
attribute some people as,
“Hi,
he never gets angry”,
and some as,
“Hi, he is always
in tension”,
Our behaviour is shaped
by the period of our STAY in the respective zone either in NTZ or
PTZ. And this will have effect when you meet up with a customer too.
Longer
stay effect in NTZ - Defeatist

“See how many times I told him – at least 6 times – but still he doesn’t respond; I am very unlucky, the same thing happened with so many others also. I think Networking doesn’t suit me”.
This is nothing but a defeatist mentality.
If this behaviour
repeats with more prospects, sooner or later these people will leave
the networking business. However much you tell them about the life
changing opportunities that network marketing business offers, it
will not convince them. If you have more such ‘defeatists’
in your team your business will
also collapse.
Longer
stay effect in PTZ - Complacency
These are bunch of
‘confidents’.
They don’t get frustrated by failures; they keep moving forward.
But the trouble with these is they become complacent. Once they
achieve some success, they take it for granted and do not do any
follow up. That will cost them dearly when some customers either stop
consuming or reduce networking activity. But these ‘confidents’
will overlook this and say to themselves
“Ok! If you don’t do, someone else will”. And
they will go in search of new prospects. This is what’s called
Complacency; overconfidence in their ability.
If
you have more ‘confidents’ in your team, you will have good
business. But keep an eye on them. Their team will fritter away; the
‘compounding benefit’ of the team sales will get reduced. Income
from such teams will be erratic.
Conversion
& Consolidation
Your team will always
be a mix of both ‘defeatists’ and ‘confidents’. Your
concentrations should be on both the types.
For ‘defeatists’
conversion is the strategy. You have to be with them for longer time
and infuse lots of success testimonials.
For the ‘confidents’
consolidation is the strategy. You have to ‘reinforce’ their
successes and bring home in their mind continuously the impending
team fritter and likely loss of income.
How
to effect Conversion & Consolidation
This requires Thought
Training. The training should be at
the level of TLZ. Once
a person is trained well on the TLZ he will neither be a ‘defeatist’
nor a ‘confident’. He will be a ‘balanced’ person either on
success or failure.
To become a Balanced
Person, one needs to work on

RELEVANCE OF NTZ, PTZ & TLZ IN SUCCESS & FAILURE
Analyse
your own success & failure
If you carefully and
dispassionately proceed to analyse your own successes and failures,
you will observe that at any time you hit success, the preceding
actions would have been triggered by PTZ (Positive Thought Zone)
only. Similarly when failure occurred, the preceding actions could
have come triggered by NTZ (Negative Thought Zone). The third
corollary is when you hit continuous success your TP (Thought
Pendulum) would certainly have STAYED in the PTZ for a long time. And
when you had met with failures, your TP would certainly have STAYED
for long in the NTZ. Put yourself into one of your own experiences
and find out how true this is. You will make a change.
Therefore,
success or failure
depends upon in which zone your
TP
STAYS FOR LONG.
How
to stay put in the PTZ
As everyone wants to be
successful, naturally everyone would like to STAY for LONG in the
PTZ. What’s the strategy for that? Both NTZ & PTZ have
magnetic pulls. They keep oscillating and staying depending upon
events taking place around you.
For e.g. when you are
caught in a traffic jam for even a little longer time, you start
yelling, shaking your head in dissatisfaction, and also utter certain
choice words against everybody involved in the traffic jam. In spite
of all your yells, the jam does not get cleared. You will move only
upon the clearance.

What’s the solution?
BE
CONSCIOULY AWARE
When you become
Consciously Aware of happenings around you, you will make an
IMMEDIATE EFFORT
to come out of the NTZ. You will
not allow your TP to STAY in the NTZ for long.
How
to make Immediate Effort
The clue lies not in
the NTZ or PTZ. It’s in the TLZ (Thought Less Zone). You will
naturally ask as to how a Thought Less Zone could give positive
results. That’s the power of TLZ. To derive the power of TLZ there
is a technique. And that is,
